I Kissed 2006 Goodbye

*I would like to acknowledge the author of the book, Mr. Joshua Harris - "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" (Although I haven't read the book) since he gave me the idea for this blog's title.

• Card Holder - My First Ever Supp. Card - AMEX Peso Platinum :-) ('singit' lang 'toh, worth noting since I believe in the company and the features of the card), December 2006
  
• Going Strong - My Second Year Anniversary with Vince, November 2006
• Bacolod Getaway! My First Vacation in Bacolod and meeting Vince's family, November 2006
  
• Applying IMC - I became part of the Balanghai Communications Crew, October 2006
  
• Point of Return - My first steps on the UA&P Grounds...as an alumna with an alumni card :-), October 2006
  
• A Decision I Had To Make - My First Resignation as well, October 2006
• 23 Years & Counting - My Birthday Celebration at our relatively new home, September 2006
  
• A Birthday Like No Other - My First Spent Birthday coupled with a brain MRI test at the UST hospital which rebuilt its image thru butlers and renovated buildings, September 2006
  
• Steppingstone for my career - My First Job at a multinational company, July 2006
• A Different Study Center - My First Visit to Tanglaw, July 2006
• Becoming an Iron Lady - Hands-on experience as the woman of the house when both of my parents were abroad, July - September 2006
  
• Adieu, UA&P! (It's not yet the end for us :-)) My college graduation at the PICC together with my family, June 2006
• Silver Bells - My parents' Silver Wedding Anniversary, May 2006
• Lupus Alert! - My First MAJOR Operation at the onset of Holy Week which is Palm Sunday to a few days after Easter Sunday, April 2006
• Sleepovers Without Sleeping - Too many 'sleepovers' yet we had sleepless nights to work on our final IMC Presentations and Pitches, March 2006
• Something in Common - IMC event for advertising and communications students from different local universities - Camp Creatives AdVenture under Below-the-Line Communications Class, February-March 2006
  

These events have passed and I would say they have become significant part of me. They have become instruments for my dealings with others, have had both positive and negative effects to me and have molded my being. Nonetheless, all these things are carried on to my future because the past serves as my learning experience as well as memories that make up my life. Goodbye 2006, *mwah

2007, here I come! The next 357 or so days (since it's January 8) will be eventful for me. I will not face it alone, though. I will face it with Him since I can't go through all the difficulties on my own. "Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo Mea." And all the happy things that come will be empty and meaningless if they were not for God and if I will not celebrate them with God. Greetings to a new year for all of us! :-)
